RTE’S SAORVIEW new Digital Free To Air Television and Radio service has now been launched

Upgrade your existing TV/Flat Screen TV to receive SD/HD enhanced TV pictures with the HD-909 receiver. By fitting this amazing, compact receiver, which can be placed behind your TV and out of sight, you can transform your existing analogue TV to produce excellent digital quality pictures.

The HD-909 enables LCD/HD TV’s with MPEG2 decoders to receive RTE/SAORVIEW MPEG4 HD transmissions. By adding external memory you can record SD and HD programmes for later viewing. See our store for full product specifications.

Existing RTE Antenna/Aerials are suitable for reception of these new digital transmissions in most home installations. However in some instances a new aerial may be required or existing installation may need adjustment as signal requirements are different for digital reception. With analogue, pictures can still be viewable with a weak signal (snowy). With digital, the picture is 100% or disappears completely.

For this reason we offer the following options for purchase of the HD-909 receiver With a 12 Months Guarantee.

We call to your residence and check out your existing installation for suitability using state of the art digital test equipment. We verify and advise if an upgrade is required.
